MyChild Malaysia Online takes its content mobile
MyChild Malaysia online readers can now share their thoughts and experiences on parenting through the online portal and from wherever they are via the mobile. Since the service is push-based, they are notified the moment any content becomes available
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – April 01, 2009 - MyChild Malaysia (www.mychildmalaysia.com), an up and coming mothercare and parenting magazine based out of Malaysia, announced today its collaboration with Umundo Corporation, a digital media technology start-up specializing in push-based media distribution services.
Today in conjunction with the announcement that MyChild Malaysia will be going monthly, they will be announcing MyChild Mobile, a mobile-based service to access and contribute content to the MyChild Malaysia online portal. The service has been available for some time in beta testing and with the surge in readership due to its increased circulation, we expect more parents to utilize this service. This service allows MyChild Malaysia online users to access the forums, share their photos and view parenting videos directly from their mobile handsets. The service will launch with a mobile client for Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG and Motorola phones. Support for Blackberry and iPhone will follow soon after the launch.
